It is the Festival of traditional dance and culture that is defined by the three syllables of its name: CON (contemporaneity), TRA (tradition) and DANS (dance), as well as by its main motto "from the roots to contemporaneity" , a sample of how traditions have had to evolve to adapt to new times.
It consists of shows by different international dance groups, as well as dance groups and/or artistic groups that create based on popular culture.
Around this festival other activities are also carried out by artisans framed in a fair of traditional trades in the street who, apart from exhibiting their work, offer practical workshops.
CONTRADANS 2024 will be held in La Massana on October 4, 5 and 6.
